The 44C372638G01 is a GE Fanuc Volt/Hz Trip Output board used in generator excitation protection applications. This board generates the trip output signal when the generator volts-per-hertz (V/Hz) ratio exceeds the protective limit, initiating a protective trip to prevent generator and transformer core overfluxing. V/Hz protection is a critical generator and power transformer protection function — overfluxing can cause rapid thermal damage to magnetic cores.
