The 2840A21G01 is a Westinghouse WDPF 7QAO20 Analog Output card used in Westinghouse Distributed Processing Family DCS installations at power generation facilities. The Westinghouse WDPF control system consists of individual processing units which communicate over networks or “highways”. Two basic types of communications are available:
• WEStation which is based on a RISC workstation with added Westinghouse hardware supporting highway communication.
• Multibus-based communications based on Westinghouse boards including the functional processor and highway communication hardware.
