The Westinghouse WDPF control system consists of individual processing units which communicate over networks or “highways”. Two basic types of communications are available:
• WEStation which is based on a RISC workstation with added Westinghouse hardware supporting highway communication.
• Multibus-based communications based on Westinghouse boards including the functional processor and highway communication hardware.
