The 7379A21G01 is a Westinghouse WDPF/Ovation QAV analog input card used in Westinghouse WDPF and Ovation DCS installations at power generation facilities. The QAV card acquires analog voltage input signals from field instrumentation — including pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and flow meters — delivering continuous measurement data to the WDPF or Ovation functional processor for real-time process monitoring and closed-loop control execution. The Ovation DCS evolved directly from the Westinghouse WDPF platform and maintains hardware compatibility across system generations, making WDPF hardware applicable to both platforms. The Westinghouse WDPF control system consists of individual processing units which communicate over networks or “highways”. Two basic types of communications are available:
• WEStation which is based on a RISC workstation with added Westinghouse hardware supporting highway communication.
• Multibus-based communications based on Westinghouse boards including the functional processor and highway communication hardware.
