The ABB Bailey IMHSS03 is a Hydraulic Servo Module for the ABB Infi 90 distributed control system. Used in turbine control applications, the IMHSS03 interfaces a servo valve or I/H converter with an IMMFP-series Multi-Function Processor Module to control steam or gas turbine throttle valve position. The MFP module calculates a valve position demand from turbine speed data provided by the IMFCS01 Frequency Counter Module, and the IMHSS03 drives its outputs to open or close the throttle valve to match that demand.
