The PCA198-CXB is a GE Arcnet network interface card used in GE Mark IV and Mark V turbine control system communication applications. Arcnet (Attached Resource Computer NETwork) provided deterministic, token-passing network communication for GE turbine control systems, connecting control panels, operator interface terminals, and data acquisition equipment. The PCA198-CXB provides this Arcnet interface capability for GE control system components across both the Mark IV and Mark V platforms.
